US awards Iranian 'Fog'

Iran short film ‘The Fog’ has won awards at Rosarito International Film Festival in the US.

Co-directed by Ali Shourvarzi and Hossein Mahrouqi, the flick won the Best Short and Best Actress awards at the third edition of the event.

Niloufar Khosh-Kholgh, Siamak Adib and Qorban Najafi are some of the cast members of the film.

The short film narrates the story of a corpse washer who has not washed any dead bodies since she lost her own kid. Unexpected turn of events puts her in circumstances she must go back to her old job.

The 3rd edition of the Rosarito International Film Festival was held on February 1-2, 2019 in California, the US.
